Alexander Watson Studio is one person, based in Stockport, making practice identities and websites for therapists and counsellors in private practice.
If your practice is nearby, you are working with someone who lives in the same part of the world as your clients. If it is not, nothing changes: the work is written first, and I work with practices across the UK in exactly the same way.
What I make
An identity and a website, built from understanding the practice.
Most therapist websites start with the website: a template, a colour, a homepage headline. I start with the practice — who you work with, how you work, what someone needs to understand before they get in touch — and write that down as your Practice Fundamentals. The identity and the website are built from it, so the practice looks and sounds like itself on the website, on a directory profile and on anything you print.
It is one complete, carefully designed page with your words, your fees, the practical information and an enquiry route that suits a therapy practice. You own it, your domain stays in your own name, and the files are handed over at the end.

- The process
- Enquire, reserve the project, complete the intake, approve the direction, then the website is built, reviewed and launched. Two consolidated feedback stages, and nothing is built until you have approved the direction.
- The price
- £495 for the first three practices, then £995. £100 to reserve your place. £395 once you approve your Practice Fundamentals, before the website is built.
- After launch
- The first year of Practice Care is included. After that it is optional, at £120 a year.
- Meetings
- Mostly written, wherever you are. Calls only where they genuinely help.
- Who does the work
- Me. The person who works through your practice with you is the person who builds the website.
