Practice Clarity Studio

Practice Clarity, a professional identity and a bespoke website, as one project.

Practice Clarity Studio is one connected engagement bringing together Practice Clarity, positioning, professional identity design, core website copy and a bespoke website.

8–12 weeks · Two staged payments · Direct collaboration

Practice Clarity Studio

A clear scope before the project begins.

This is not a set of disconnected branding and website purchases. Each stage grows from the same understanding of your practice, so the positioning, identity, copy and website support one another.

You receive the strategic thinking as well as the finished creative work, with defined approval points and clear ownership at handover.

Timeline

8–12 weeks

A structured schedule shaped around feedback, approvals and identity production.

The strategic foundation

This is what every project begins with.

Practice Clarity is the framework that turns the whole practice into a written foundation covering identity, suitable clients, services, boundaries, positioning, messaging and creative direction.

The Practice Clarity Document is the working document that gives the identity and website a reason to look, sound and behave as they do.

This example is based on Alexander Watson Counselling. Each client document is created around that therapist’s own practice, therapeutic identity, suitable clients, boundaries and long-term direction.

The visual expression

A visual identity with a system behind it.

The Brand System Suite is the practical reference for the logo system, typography, colour, imagery and how the practice should feel wherever it appears.

How the project is managed

Structured enough to feel clear. Flexible enough to remain human.

You work directly with me throughout. Written preparation and defined checkpoints reduce unnecessary meetings while ensuring important decisions are properly considered.

Direct collaboration

One person responsible for the whole project.

Strategy, communication and website development remain connected rather than being passed between separate departments.

Written preparation

Time to think before responding.

Questionnaires and written materials allow you to reflect without needing polished answers during a call.

Agreed checkpoints

Decisions happen in the right order.

Each stage is reviewed before the next begins, preventing later work from being built on unresolved foundations.

Consolidated feedback

Clear refinement rather than constant revision.

Feedback is gathered at defined points and considered as a whole, with additional work quoted before it begins.

Approximately 8–12 weeks from discovery to launch.
Communication
Predominantly written, with calls arranged when they add value.
Ownership

Well suited to

Therapists building deliberately.

You are committed to a long-term private practice and value clarity, professional identity and online trust as much as the final website.

Not designed for

A quick template or isolated design task.

The service is unlikely to suit someone seeking only the cheapest website, an individual logo or a rapid build without strategic work.

Founding Therapist Programme

What publishing actually means.

Publishing is limited to showing the approved finished work and how the project was approached. It never means sharing your clients’ information or your clinical work.

What may be published

Your approved identity, finished website and agreed extracts of strategic thinking may be used in a case study.

What will never be published

Client material, clinical content, session information and anything you have not approved will never be published.

Your approval

You approve the complete case study before publication, including the final selection of images, words and strategic extracts.

Testimonial and removal options

Your testimonial can use your full name and practice, your first name only, initials or remain anonymous. You can also ask for the case study to be removed later.

Case study

See the system applied to a real practice.

Alexander Watson Counselling is the first complete application of the Practice Clarity, identity and bespoke website process. The case study examines the decisions behind it—not simply the finished screens.

Practice Clarity Professional identity Website copy and structure Live bespoke website

This is a live personal practice project, not commissioned client work. That distinction is made explicit because it also permits an unusually open account of the choices, trade-offs and improvements I would make. Founding Therapist Programme projects will become the studio’s first independent client case studies.

FAQ

Practical questions before you enquire.

How long does Practice Clarity Studio take?

Most projects take around 8–12 weeks from the beginning of Practice Clarity to launch. The confirmed project plan accounts for feedback, identity production, content approval and external requirements.

How do we communicate during the project?

Email is the default, with clear written questions, recommendations and decisions kept in one place. Calls are available when genuinely useful, scheduled in advance, and the important outcomes are confirmed in writing.

Who writes the website copy?

I write the core website pages using the material developed through Practice Clarity. You provide and approve factual, clinical, legal and practical details such as qualifications, memberships, fees, policies and availability.

How many refinement rounds are included?

Two structured refinement rounds are included for the professional identity and two for the website. Additional work is scoped and quoted before it begins.

Is the logo professionally designed?

Yes. I establish the strategic and creative direction through Practice Clarity, then collaborate with a specialist identity designer to produce the bespoke logo system.

Is the website based on a template?

No. The structure, copy, visual direction and client journey are planned around your practice and developed as a lightweight bespoke website rather than fitted into a restrictive page builder.

What if I decide not to continue after Practice Clarity?

There is a formal review point after Practice Clarity. If you stop before identity production begins, the first payment covers the work completed and the finished document; the second payment is not due.

What do I own after launch?

Your domain remains registered to you. After final payment you retain your approved copy, final identity files and completed website files. Any third-party licences are identified before approval.

Can you maintain the website afterwards?

Yes. Managed hosting is available for £15 per month. Optional ongoing care for minor updates is £20 per month, while larger changes are scoped and quoted separately.

Why is the Founding Therapist Programme £795?

Practice Clarity Studio is £1,995, with three Founding Therapist Programme places available at £795. The difference is not scope: founding therapists receive the same four stages, refinement rounds, ownership at handover and level of attention. In return, I ask for candid feedback, an honest testimonial after launch and permission to publish the approved finished work as a case study.

A straightforward route into the project.

You do not need finished copy, a settled niche or a visual direction before making contact. The first step is simply to tell me where the practice is now and what you hope to build.
