I’m Michael, a qualified therapist offering counselling and therapy in Manchester. My approach is calm, practical, and grounded in real conversation.

I do not believe therapy needs to feel complicated or full of jargon. Often, the most useful work begins with slowing things down enough to notice what has been happening and how it has been affecting you.

How I work

We work at your pace. You do not need to arrive with everything neatly explained, and there is no pressure to open up before you feel ready.

Together, we can look at stress, pressure, relationship difficulties, patterns, habits, uncertainty, or that harder-to-name feeling that something is not quite right.

What you can expect

You can expect a steady, respectful space where you are listened to properly. The aim is not to force advice or push you in a direction that does not feel right, but to help you understand yourself more clearly and find a steadier way forward.

Therapy can be a place to pause, take stock, and work things through in a way that feels human, grounded, and manageable.
